With the Senior All-Star Stage Band at the national finals of the Canadian Stage Band Festival, Regal Constellation Hotel, Toronto, May 20, 1984. Photos by Bart Hos. This band, directed by Tommy Banks, was comprised of the best musicians on each instrument out of all those who competed at the festival. Among the musicians are Jeff Healey on guitar, Ingrid Jensen on trumpet, Gina Borza on trombone (not shown here), and Pete Pereira (in the striped shirt) on soprano saxophone. Tommy Banks later went on to music direct the Calgary Winter Games and become a senator in the Senate of Canada, while Jeff Healey would spend several weeks at Humber College that fall before embarking on his music career. Jamie and Pete reunited for a few engagements with The Fabulous Edsels in late 2003.
